The Junior Achievement Career Fusion event was held on Thursday, February 1 at the University of Delaware STAR Campus. 72 high school students participated in a program designed to help prepare them for future employment and empower them to own their economic success. Brandywine Technology’s Kim McColgan was one of 16 area professionals who participated as a mentor for students from Brandywine, Christiana, Concord, McKean and MOT Charter High Schools. The four-hour session provided career readiness education, at no cost (other than transportation) to the school, students & their families.
According to Denise Christiansen, Student Impact Manager for Junior Achievement of Delaware, “It was a fabulous event… [that] left a lasting impression on our future generation!” Brandywine Technology is excited to contribute the the success of the next generation of workers in our community.
